Setupfiles

As a rule: the following files should be equal for the usual user and for the user 'sfs'.

.bashrc	Initialisation of each shell. This is in our case the standard UNIX shell, the command system of the operating system
.bash_profile	Initialisations for the shall that are only executed at login but, after .cshrc!
.bash_logout	Commands that should be executed at logout.

Nota bene: for the 'C-shell' the corresponding files are .cshrc, .login und .logout

.emacs	Initialisation for Emacs. Usually identical (symbolic Link) to /u/sfs/emacs/emacs.
.mailrc	See SfS Defaults.

Some further important settings are found ion .local, .gnome und .gconf.

Als Regel gelte: Die folgenden Files sollen für eine(n) gewöhnliche(n) Benutzer(in) gleich sein wie für 'sfs'.

.bashrc	Initialisierung für jede shell. Dies ist bei uns die Standard-UNIX 'shell', d.h. Kommandosprache des Betriebssystems.
.bash_profile	Initialisierungen für die shell, welche nur beim login ausgeführt werden, nach .cshrc!
.bash_logout	Befehle die beim logout durgeführt werden sollen.
