Spring semester.

Lecture:

Course description can be found here. This is a research based course, thus, there are a few introductory lectures about different research paths within machine learning. Afterwards, weekly meetings with the assigned supervisor are expected. It is expected that students have had at least the course in Machine Learning offered in the Autumn semester.

Assessment:

Research project in groups of 3. The students are assigned a supervisor according to the topic proposed. Students are expected to work throughout the semester and meet their supervisor regularly to report on progress. There is a midterm presentation, a final poster session and a written report. The grading of the course is Pass or Fail.
